Data Deletion
Last updated: 23 June 2026
This page explains how personal data is deleted from KTPV5 and how to request deletion. KTPV5 is a closed business-to-business service — accounts belong to the businesses (our customers) that use KTPV5, and each business decides who may use it.
How to request deletion
If you are a staff member, your KTPV5 account is managed by your employer, who is the controller of your data. To delete your account or personal data, contact your employer's HR team or KTPV5 administrator. They can remove your account within the app, and we action the deletion they instruct.
If you cannot reach your employer, or are not sure who to ask, email us at dev@kortoaus.com.au and we will help direct your request.
What is deleted
When a staff account is deleted, we destroy the personal contact details we hold for that person:
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Position or job title
What is retained, and why
Some information must remain so that business records stay accurate and complete. For each document a person created in KTPV5 — for example an order, invoice, receipt or stock movement — we keep:
- Unique identifier (UUID) — the internal ID of the document's author.
- Name — the display name set by the employer. This is not a legal name.
We keep this as part of the business customer's operational and accounting records — it shows who created each document — and it is retained under the customer's contract and record-keeping obligations. It is not used to contact the person.
Company and sales data
Company and sales data belongs to the business customer and is governed by its contract with us. The contract determines whether that data is permanently destroyed, retained, or placed on a grace/deferral period. Requests about company data should come from the business customer.
Timing
We action valid deletion instructions from the controller without undue delay.
